People of Bramber and Beeding in the Great War

Produced to mark the centenary of the first World War, this book is a detailed local history of the impact of the first World War on the people of Bramber and Beeding. Paying tribute to those who faught in the armed forces and those who remained behind on the home front, it draws from a variety of archive materials including personal diaries, letters and photographs from the time. It includes many colour and black and white photographs and individual stories to paint a complete picture of a community at war.
